ART FOR THOUGHT: In describing her most recent digital pigment prints, artist Judith Seligson suggests that one could see them as "pictures of thinking." Her latest exhibition, aptly title Arousing the Mind, features some 25 works, including 10 colored prints that integrate text from the Bible as well as writings by the like of James Joyce, Sigmund Freud and Jacques Derrida. All the works contain references to Jadaism, and many includ Hebrew phrases. Jane Haslem Gallery, 2025 Hillyer Pl. NW; through Nov 24; Mon.-Sat. 12 p.m. - 5 pm.; free.
